Temple University's Campus Safety Department is searching for an Administrative Coordinator!

Salary Range: $41,250 - $60,000
A variety of important factors are reviewed by HR when considering salary, including job duties, the applicant's education and experience, all relevant internal equity considerations, department budget, and funding source.

Position Summary
Reporting to the Associate Director of Administrative Operations, the Administrative Coordinator handles a variety of general office activities. The Administrative Coordinator will assist with the day-to-day administrative operations of the department, including position changes/upgrades, terminations/resignations, onboarding, offboarding, payroll, timekeeping, absence management, analyzing and organizing office operations and procedures such as scheduling, preparation of payroll, personnel, information management, filing systems, and other clerical services. The position will serve as the Kronos and PowerTime primary administrator for all scheduling and payroll coordination. The Administrative Coordinator will also be required to work a fluctuating schedule. Will also perform other duties as assigned.

This position requires employee to work every other weekend for payroll processing.

Required Education and Experience
*Bachelor's degree.
*At least 1 year of directly related payroll and office management experience.
*An equivalent combination of education and payroll management experience may be considered.

Preferred Education and Experience (if applicable)
*Previous experience with UKG Payroll (Kronos) and Human Resources
*Experience with scheduling systems.
*Collective bargaining payroll experience.

Required Skills and Abilities
*Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
*Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.
*Ability to manage multiple collaborative projects and systems in a fast-paced environment.
*Demonstrated ability to set priorities, coordinate multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision.
*Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects with competing deadlines.
*Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently and efficiently.
*Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
*Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, and Powerpoint)
*Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
*Open to feedback and professional development.
*Integrity and respect for confidential information.

This position is assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
