Job Summary:

Teach math curriculum to high school students. Grade coursework as appropriate. Sometimes, in collaboration with subject matter coordinator, develop course curriculum in math for high school students.


Responsibilities:
Teaches the quiz, tutorial, discussion or lab section(s) of a course or assists in the development of materials or programs under the direction of an academic staff or faculty member. May perform the same work as a Teaching Assistant, but is not a UW student.

  • 50% Facilitates classroom and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses including assessment of student performance
  • 25% Assists with the development of instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction under the direction of an academic staff or faculty member
  • 25% Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations

It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.


Appointment Type, Duration:

Terminal, 1 month appointment.
This position has the possibility to be extended or converted to an ongoing appointment based on need and/or funding


Salary:

$45,000 ANNUAL (12 months)

Additional Information:

This position is a terminal position from June 23, 2025, through July 11, 2025. Instructors will be expected to work from 9 am - 12:00 pm. through the duration of the program.
