Why Consider This Job Opportunity This is a hands-on position to work in a RF technology development and testing lab and will be part of the Test & Measurement team. The successful candidate will utilize sophisticated test systems to conduct device measurements in the RF & microwave frequency range. The candidate will also support development of state-of-the-art measurement techniques and procedures. Workplace Policy On-site from Goleta, CA What To Expect (Essential Job Responsibilities) Understand customer specifications and test plans as well as execute RF small signal and large signal tests. Update and upgrade test systems as well as troubleshoot hardware and software issues. Collaborate with team members to develop next generation test systems. Characterize test bench accuracy and capability (Gage R&R, equipment calibration, documentation). Analyze test results and feedback to Design, Technology, and Product teams in a timely manner to drive technology development and design improvement. What Is Required (Qualifications) 3+ years' experience of component-level small-signal and high-power RF testing. Proficiency in RF measurement and equipment (Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, Tuner, Power Meter, Oscilloscope, etc.). Proficiency in RF testing including but not limited to: S-parameter, EVM, IMD, P1dB, Harmonics, and Ruggedness. Excellent troubleshooting, collaborative, and problem solving skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Strong written and verbal English skills. How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Experience with RF filter and resonator measurements at wafer level, die level, and package level. Experience with CW and modulated signal measurements. Experience with wafer prober systems. Programming experience with LabView, WinCal, MATLAB, and Python. Familiarity with component teardown and metrology. Strong manual assembly skills (Microscopes, tweezers, soldering, die handling, PCBs). Other Domestic travel between California offices is required. Infrequent International travel is strongly desired. Minimum Salary: $90,000 Maximum Salary: $140,000 We consider various factors in determining actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience and location.
