SR Technical Lead

We are seeking an experienced Architect with 12 to 16 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Data Warehousing Concepts Scheduling Basics ETL Data Integration PL/SQL and IBM Infosphere Datastage. Experience in Investment Banking Operations and Cards & Payments is a plus. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust data warehousing solutions to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of ETL processes to ensure efficient data integration and transformation.
• Provide technical expertise in PL/SQL to optimize database performance and ensure data integrity.
• Lead the implementation of IBM Infosphere Datastage for data integration and management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for data solutions.
• Develop and maintain scheduling processes to ensure timely data processing and availability.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies to protect sensitive information.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Mentor and guide junior team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of data warehousing solutions.
• Provide regular updates and reports on project status and progress to stakeholders.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data solutions.
• Contribute to the overall success of the company by delivering high-quality data solutions that drive business growth.

Qualifications

• Possess extensive experience in Data Warehousing Concepts Scheduling Basics ETL Data Integration PL/SQL and IBM Infosphere Datastage.
• Have a strong understanding of data governance and security policies.
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Exhibit strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience in Investment Banking Operations and Cards & Payments is a plus.
• Show a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• Ability to mentor and guide junior team members effectively.

Certifications Required

IBM Certified Solution Developer - InfoSphere DataStage

The annual salary for this position is between $[115,000 - 120,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
