Depot Manager - "W-TRS" Louisville, Kentucky

SHORT DESCRIPTION:

Depot Manager- Responsible for all operations oversight at Warrior Support Center (WSC) in Louisville Ky. Oversees the day-to-day operations of the site to include all personnel and subcontractors to ensure repairs for all incoming Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS) within Contractor Performance Factor (CPF) are met. Repairs are made on time within quality assurance standards to meet Contractor Performance requirements. Oversees all projects and activities, manages timelines, coordinates tasks, and adjusts plans as necessary to meet objectives. Leads and manages the personnel assigned to the site, including recruiting, training, professional development, performance evaluation, and well-being of team members.

Works with the FOCUS Center Managers, Site Managers at all OCONUS, CONUS Manned and Unmanned locations to include the Field Operations Director to resource and support all TADSS requirements as needed to meet repair standards, return of repaired items in accordance with contractual requirements to meet Contractor Performance Factor.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

*Responsible for operations oversight for Warrior Support Center in Louisville KY to include subcontractors.

*Responsible inventory, inventory levels, depot assigned Appendix C items, disposition (PIEE) when assigned.

*Oversees the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring that projects and activities are progressing as planned to include associated Purchase Requests, Purchase Orders, bench stock, all Receiving activities, track Return Material Authorizations to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM)& Vendors, Over and Above Work Requests, HazMat, import, export to include classification and shipping.

*Manages timelines, coordinates tasks, and adjusts plans as necessary to meet Contractor Performance requirements within the Performance Work Statement. Additional tasks may include transportation, surge support as needed.

*Leads and manages the personnel assigned to the site, including recruiting, training, professional development, performance evaluation, and ensuring the well-being of team members.

*Ensures compliance within ATF framework, Quality Assurance (Quality Control Plan), Risk Management Plan, Environmental Health and Safety Standards, OSHA, V2X polices and guidelines.

*Works with operational, management and function groups to ensure operation is resourced to meet contractual requirements and obligations. This includes the warehouse, logistics and supply chain.

* Manages the depot's budget, including monitoring expenditure, optimizing costs where possible. Complies with all relevant laws and regulations, including health and safety standards, employment laws, and any industry-specific regulations. Keeps accurate records and reports on depot operations, inventory levels, logistics, staff performance, and other key metrics.

*Prepared to formally brief and host site visits from customer, government personnel, senior management and other dignitaries as identified.

Education/ Experience:

(10+BA/BS or 5+MA/MS) or (14+AA/No Degree).

Required Experience:

*Experience in responsibility of operations oversight to include performance metrics, performance to meet contractual requirements, compliance.

*Experience in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring that projects and activities are progressing as planned.

*Experience in managing timelines, coordinating tasks, and adjusting plans as necessary to meet objectives.

*Experience in leading and managing the personnel assigned to the site, including recruiting, training, professional development, performance evaluation, and ensuring the well-being of team members.

*Experience in working with Field Operations and Functional groups.

*Experience in managing equipment and technology, ensuring they are used efficiently and effectively.

*Experience in fostering an environment of innovation within the site.

*Experience in conducting and overseeing research projects, staying updated on the latest developments in the field, and implementing new technologies or methodologies to improve operations.

*Experience in ensuring that all activities and operations within the site comply with relevant laws, regulations, and military standards, including maintaining operational security, data protection, and ethical standards.

*Experience in preparing presentations, reports, findings, and making recommendations for future actions.

*Experience in resolving challenges and obstacles.

*Experience in assessing the effectiveness of the Depot operations and seeking ways to improve, including soliciting feedback, conducting after-action reviews, and implementing changes to enhance performance.

Clearance:

Secret.

REQUIREMENT:

Active and Current U.S. Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
