Requisition Summary

This position is responsible for maintaining fast and compliant U.S., Canada, and Mexico import operations for all PACCAR divisions by working with suppliers, production plants, warehouses, dealers, carriers and customs brokers. The Logistics Manager at PACCAR Inc. willmanage customs brokers, international logistics providers and suppliers to ensure KPIs are being met and drive improvements, including initiating corrective action directives. The Logistics Manager coordinates Corporate Customs process to address questions and resolve clearance issues in a timely manner; and acts as a backup for export shipment processing and support other department needs as required.

The successful candidatewill demonstrateoutstanding time management, organizational skills, and the ability to run multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.This position will be based out of the PACCAR Corporate Office located in Bellevue, WA.

Job Functions / Responsibilities
  • Manage U.S., Canada and Mexico import brokerage operations for all PACCAR divisions.
  • Supervise customs brokers and assigned personnel to ensure KPIs are being met and drive improvements to international import compliance procedures.
  • Manage process to obtain Partnering Government Agency information when required for clearance including FDA, EPA, DOT, ADD and CVC case numbers.
  • Continual education on new customs requirements, interpreting impact to PACCAR and communicating and executing solution within all supply chains supporting NA business units.
  • Support PACCAR Customs Department transition to SAP Global Trade System.
  • Act as a backup to support export shipment processing for PACCAR Global Sales and other PACCAR divisions.
  • Support other Customs Department and Logistics initiatives as needed.
Qualifications & Skills

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. entry process.
  • Knowledge of PGA requirements on U.S. entries.
  • Ability to classify U.S. and Canadian HTS numbers.
  • Ability to travel, both domestically and internationally.
  • Motivated, self-starter with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, customer service-based environment.

Preferred:

  • 3-5 years' experience in Trade Compliance
  • Project management experience
  • Licensed U.S. Customs Broker
  • Experience with SAP GTS
  • Spanish-Speaking a plus
