Senior Architect

We are seeking an experienced Architect with 10 to 14 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in SQL Server Restful APIs Azure SSO DevOps .Net Core ASP.NET Core MSTEST Entity Framework Dependency Injection and .Net Framework. Experience in Investment Banking Operations and Cards & Payments is a plus. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.

Required Skills:

* Design and develop high-quality software solutions using .Net Core and ASP.NET Core technologies.

* Implement and maintain SQL Server databases to ensure data integrity and performance.

* Develop and integrate Restful APIs to enhance application functionality and interoperability.

* Utilize Azure SSO for secure and seamless user authentication and authorization.

* Apply DevOps practices to streamline the software development lifecycle and improve deployment efficiency.

* Conduct thorough testing using MSTEST to ensure software reliability and performance.

* Implement Entity Framework for efficient data access and manipulation.

* Utilize Dependency Injection to enhance code maintainability and testability.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster their growth and development.

* Ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards to maintain code quality and consistency.

* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth and uninterrupted application performance.

* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the software development process.

Qualifications

* Possess a strong background in SQL Server Restful APIs Azure SSO DevOps .Net Core ASP.NET Core MSTEST Entity Framework Dependency Injection and .Net Framework.

* Have experience in Investment Banking Operations and Cards & Payments which is a plus.

* Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.

* Show a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

* Hold a relevant certification such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position depends on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
