SSI Technologies: Molding Technician - 1st Shift

Position Summary:

Complete defined mold tooling preventive maintenance task per the established Plex system. Complete mold tooling changeovers and setups per the established manufacturing work instructions. Prepare tools for shipment and update status in Plex system. Complete general assignments to keep mold processes operational.

Position Requirements:

1. Mechanical mold assembly and disassembly.
2. Able to operate injection molding machine and all peripheral equipment associated with molding. Trouble shoot basic problems.
3. Navigation of Plex maintenance system and related material functions.
4. Able to complete all quality inspections referenced on the control plans. Operate moisture analyzer and other basic gages.
5. Assist in new tool setups and runoffs.
6. Provide basic training to mold operators.
7. When mandated, will need to be available to work overtime, be it daily extra hours or weekly with additional days added to the work week.
8. Individuals directed by management to operate a vehicle for work purposes will observe the requirements of the Fleet Safety Program.
9. Support, promote, and perform in a manner consistent with continuous improvement goals and the values of SSI Technologies, Inc. which includes following the policies, procedures, and requirements of our Quality Management and IS0 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
10. All other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Professional/Technical Experience, Skills and Education:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
2. Internals must achieve Molding Certification or have previous molding experience, required.
3. Associate's degree, preferred.
4. Basic blueprint reading, preferred.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office, preferred.
