As the Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for the hands-on assembly, wiring or testing of products. The holder of the position will also work with the production team and other internal functions to continuously identify design, process and efficiency improvements. The goal is to ensure work is completed to required timescales, output and quality targets.

What you will accomplish together with us:

  • Perform high quality build in an efficient manner
  • Establish cycle times for all new products.
  • Use problem-solving skills to help resolve issues in production.
  • Implement cost savings by using continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Conduct a defined process accurately
  • Maintain the production documentation record correctly and up to date
  • Support their Team Leader to maintain the efficiency of the cell(s)
  • Maintain the lean manufacturing philosophies during the implementations

What will convince us:

  • Must be able to work onsite: Monday- Friday 7am-3pm (flexible)
  • Associate degree in an Engineering, Science or discipline in a related field or Vocational training with 3+ years of experience
  • Minimum 1 year experience working in a technical manufacturing, production or assembly environment
  • Good knowledge in mechanical assembly techniques
  • Proven mechanical fault-finding skills
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Good knowledge of quality, cost, efficiency and safety
