Make your mark at the world's largest HVAC company Daikin Applied is seeking a District Operations Supervisor - Boilers in our Washington DC area office in Bowie, MD! The District Operations Supervisor will be responsible for providing progressive supervision and service operations responsibility within the district service office for Daikin Applied. This role will also provide leadership to the service operations team which includes overseeing the fulfillment process for work sold by the service and solutions sales team to ensure customer's requirements are met, revenue and profit objectives are realized, and operational efficiencies are achieved. The District Operations Supervisor role will have additional responsibility for leveraging opportunities to promote Daikin Applied to increase business. - Supervise, motivate, and lead technician team to ensure high quality service delivery, adherence to timelines, and effective customer support
- Assign tasks and manage the workload of team members to ensure the efficient completion of scheduled service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities
- Provide technical guidance, support, and training to team members to ensure the highest standards of performance and service quality
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss issues, share updates, and align team members on key performance metrics and priorities
- Ensure team members comply with company policies, safety regulations, and industry best practices
- Coach and develop employees to maximize performance and potential
- Oversee the daily operations of boiler service activities, including preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and troubleshooting
- Ensure that service requests are handled in a timely and efficient manner, meeting or exceeding customer expectations
- Manage and maintain service documentation, including work orders, service reports, and maintenance logs
- Ensure customer satisfaction by ensuring the team delivers quality work and by handling any service-related complaints or escalations effectively
- Foster strong customer relationships by regularly communicating and following up on service progress and outcomes
- Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations, codes, and best practices, minimizing risks to both employees and clients
- Conduct regular safety training for team members and ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices
- Monitor and enforce company and regulatory compliance standards, ensuring all certifications and documentation are up to date
- Complete technician reviews and ensure completed in line with assigned timelines
- Support technician training by coordinating training
- Provide weekly job status, revenue and warranty recovery report to DM.
- Performance management of technicians (i.e. goals setting, performance reviews, performance management)

Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of progressive experience as a technician or related role in the HVAC industry
- 2+ years of prior experience managing technicians or employees in a similar role
- Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills
- Proven leadership and influencing skills
- Complex reasoning skills
- Ability to execute sound judgment
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $87,800 - $140,600 in Maryland. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
