Job Title: MDIC Tooling Lead Department/Group: Maintenance Location: Assembly 1st shift Summary of Objective: Focus on team development through training and development of procedures and ensuring all team members are performing correct job functions Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned. Leads and directs cleaning specialist and process reliability expeditor on daily initiatives and activities by allocating labor where it is needed. Assume the responsibility and job functions of a supervisor when supervisor is unavailable. Host daily DDS meetings Acts as point person for all tooling inventory management when supervisor is absent Provide documentation adherence support for Process Reliability Expeditors (PRE) and Cleaning Specialists. The ability to systematically gather information from a variety of sources, analyze the information, identify implications of data, draw appropriate conclusions, generate viable alternative solutions to a question or problem, and evaluate the consequences of choosing each alternative. The ability to define, diagnose, and resolve problems. This includes seeking, logically examining, and interpreting information from different sources to determine a problem's cause and developing a course of action to resolve the problem and prevent its recurrence. Provides guidance to others by responding to questions, observing work activity giving direction when necessary Assemble/repair/engrave tooling and equipment. Support process reliability expeditors and cleaning specialists with issues pertaining to tooling and procedures. Provide leadership in Safety, Quality, and Service using continuous improvement in their assigned department. Ensure personnel perform their jobs in a safe manner complying with company safety standards and rules. Taking immediate corrective action when necessary. Oversee and manage training of PRE and Cleaning Specialists. Will coordinate and manage PRE and Cleaning Specialist "On the Job" training appropriately. Will hand off any completed OJT's to supervisor for training department submittal. Reviews documentation in collaboration with supervisor and training department to update or implement new procedures. Ability to follow instructions and respond to management directions. Ability to work independently of a team. Communicates PRE and Cleaning Specialists' needs and discrepancies in departments. Ability to effectively communicate over radio responding to calls in a timely fashion. This position may require overtime and/or weekend work. Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules. Attendance at work is an essential function of this position. Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor. The hiring rate for this position is $24.58/hour - $27.65/hour plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including but not limited to specific and relevant experience, education, credentials, geography, and subject matter expertise.
