What you bring

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and writing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems creatively by asking insightful questions and incorporating feedback.
  • Ability to be an independent worker with a team player attitude.
  • Ability to interact with internal and external clients professionally in a fast paced, high-energy environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Office including MS Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Candidates must be prepared to submit 2 financial models that they developed during their academic studies.

Bonus skills and experience

  • Real Estate majors or previous experience working in commercial real estate preferred.
  • Experience in Argus, SmartSheet, Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign), CoStar, Crexi

What success looks like

You will support a high-performance retail investment sales team specializing in shopping centers, strip centers, and single-tenant net lease properties nationwide. You will support all stages of the transaction process, including financial underwriting, market research, property tours, marketing, offer negotiation, and client meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lease Abstraction: Review and abstract lease documents
  • Financial Underwriting: Analyze operating statements, tenant reconciliations, appraisals, budgets, and tenant sales data
  • Financial Modeling: Build detailed pro forma cash flow projections and valuation models using Argus and Excel.
  • Market Research: Gather sales and lease comps, track economic drivers, and analyze trends using CoStar, Real Capital Analytics, and industry sources.
  • Transaction Support: Prepare investment offering packages, coordinate due diligence, and assist in marketing and negotiations.

The Hourly Range for this Role is: $15.00 Hour

Our Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The rate displayed on this job posting is the target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training
