2025 Fall Intern - Discovery Oncology - Tumor Microenvironment/Cancer Immunology
Department Summary The Krishnamurty Lab in the Department of Discovery Oncology at Genentech is seeking a highly talented and motivated fall intern to perform discovery research and characterize novel drug discovery targets in the area of cancer immunology, with the ultimate goal of aiding the development of novel cutting-edge cancer therapies. The candidate will focus on research areas related to the tumor microenvironment, with an emphasis on interrogating stromal cell-immune cell interactions. The position allows the unique opportunity to participate in basic immunobiology research deeply embedded in drug discovery efforts, collaborate with scientists across different functions, and offers valuable insight about potential research careers in drug development. Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting. The expected salary for this position based on the primary location of California is $45.00 hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
