Position Opening: Facilities Specialist

The Facilities Specialist is responsible for coordinating the safety, service, and other miscellaneous activities to ensure the Organization's facility operates at an optimal level.
Responsibilities of Facilities Specialist:
- Ensure that facilities problems are identified and repaired quickly
- Establish, implement, maintain, and audit safety protocols for Emergency Action Plan, LOTO, IIPP, Annual Fire Safety, First Aid Training, and Bi-Annual Forklift Training
- Acquire quotes for new or replacement tools, maintenance programs, infrastructure needs such as for security systems, alarms, HVAC, etc.
- Assist Quality with the administration of calibration and preventative maintenance program as needed
- Support the IT team with technology needs such as, but not limited to, troubleshooting and repair; spec and acquire computers, printers, and replacement hardware; auditing and maintaining server/APC, networking hardware, and more
- Assist in the coordination of special events such as holiday luncheons
- Work together with other professionals to maintain standards and functionality
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements of
Facilities Specialist
:
- High School diploma or GED
- 3+ years' experience working with vendors and building management
- Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to multitask
- Ability to lift/move up to 25lbs regularly
