Nokia of America Corporation, System Validation Engineer (Multiple Positions), Dallas, TX. SALARY RANGE: $106,517 - 163,800 per year WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.) Nokia of America Corporation, System Validation Engineer (Multiple Positions), Dallas, TX. Perform end-to-end system integration and verification of software in the lab and field test network. Perform testing to validate end-to-end Radio Access Network (RAN) product behavior in LTE and 5G, reproduction of issues, and single call functionality. Perform call load testing with real and simulated mobile devices. Execute configuration architecture and integration, network element software upgrades, installation of designer loads and patches, provisioning of Customer Templates and Work Orders, and activation of features. Perform Key Performance Indicator (KPI) analysis of end-to-end network stability. Support continuous delivery and development of network features. Apply understanding of Radio-Frequency (RF) technologies to determine root cause of KPI degradation such as: Call Drops and Call Accessibility/Retainability failures. Apply understanding of the RF environment at customer sites to analyze poor operating issues and its impact to end user performance. Perform statistical analysis on customer KPIs. Open and solve trouble tickets for product defects found during testing. #LI-DNI JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience; OR a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, and 1 year of related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience with the following: Commissioning, integrating and troubleshooting base station products; Performing end-to-end system integration and verification of software; Converting product specification to test case specification as per 3GPP and customer specific standards by technically analyzing the product requirement; Reporting product faults found in reporting tools and working with hardware and software designers for troubleshooting and validating the fix; and Radio-Frequency (RF) technologies for KPI degradation analysis, and Fault report creation and analysis. Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 30%. Travel to various international locations required up to 20%. Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Dallas, TX may be permitted up to 60%. Employer will accept any suitable combination of experience of education, training or experience.
