Thomson Reuters is seeking a talented product marketing leader to spearhead insight into customer need, market trends, competitive assessments and robust go-to-market activities in the Legal Drafting Document Analysis and third-party integrations with our G-AI products. Generative AI solutions are being rapidly adopted by legal professionals due to the productivity and efficiency gains they represent. CoCounsel is Thomson Reuters' premier Generative AI solution and is the focal point for our investment and innovation.

As the Senior Director of Product Marketing, CoCounsel-Drafting, Document Analysis, Integrations, you will be uniquely positioned to help grow our industry leading Generative AI solutions. This role has a tremendous impact on the segment's trajectory and plays a key role in coordinating product, sales, and marketing to maximize growth.

We are looking for someone that is passionate about assessing customer needs and the propositional resonance with buyers, decision-makers, and law firm executives. We also looking for a leader who is curious abouttechnologies, industries. You seek to learn what differentiates your products from competitors and distill that information into simple, informative, and easy-to-understand stories. We are looking for an evangelist who loves the products they support and can energize and rally internal teams around a common cause. A leader with excellent management skills, capable of mentoring and leading a team of high-performing product marketers. Someone that is adaptable to the styles and needs of different stakeholders - sales, product management, marketing, and other go-to-market teams.They should be driven to position sales teams for success by creating quality materials that deliver clear stories through customer narratives.

About the Role
In this opportunity as Senior Director, Product Marketing, CoCounsel-Drafting, Document Analysis and Integrations, you will:

  • Have close collaboration and partnership with the product team to understand and evaluate customer needs and markets.
  • Create market size estimates to asses various geographic or other market opportunities
  • Create compelling value propositions and differentiated messaging and work collaboratively with marketing, and business partners to empower our sales channel will powerful visionary storytelling to drive sales pipeline targets, and sales effectiveness.
  • Orchestrate successful product launches.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of product marketers in developing their skill-sets.
  • Create messaging and positioning strategies that drive growth.
  • Identify and synthesize qualitative and quantitative feedback on products that develop a clear voice of the customer to internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure our value proposition and messaging differentiate our Drafting, Document Analysis and integrations resonate with our target customers, and support our broader company vision and objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with channel leaders to partner on go-to-market strategies and tactics, including cross-sell and upsell motions.
  • Work closely with demand generation to provide key messaging documents and guidance on in-market campaigns.
  • Identify long-term market and product opportunities based on data, research, and strategic analysis of our customers and their industries.

About You
You're a fit for the role of Senior Director, Product Marketing, CoCounsel-Drafting, Document Analysis, Integrations if your background includes:

  • 10+ years in Product Marketing or related roles supporting a SaaS product
  • Experience leading product marketing teamsin analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to assess customer needs and opportunity size.
  • Adept at financial analysis and a proven ability to create initiatives to grow revenue through Product Marketing based initiatives.
  • Proven ability to develop compelling vision and roadmap storytelling.
  • Proven ability to establish a broad vision and take ideas from concept through to completion.
  • Proven ability to set annual and quarterly plans and prioritize team projects and workload.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand commercial, technological, and strategic drivers to build and execute multi-year strategy.
  • Demonstrated prior experience setting and driving successful delivery of complex product marketing campaigns.
  • Experience leading cross-functional agile teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies and multi-channel marketing programs.
  • Ability to understand and interpret fundamental workings and trends within a target industry.
  • Knowledge of the legal market and/or how law firms operate ispreferred
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; JD or MBA Preferred.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.
For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $135,800 - $252,200.
This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
