Description and Requirements

Lenovo is seeking an experienced and dynamic International Director of Human Resources to lead the HR strategy and execution for our International Sales Organization within the Solutions and Services Group (SSG). This role will partner closely with executive leadership to drive talent management, organizational design and operating model effectiveness, workforce planning, and HR operations to support Lenovo's ambitious growth and transformation in IT services. Additionally, this role will lead a small global HR team, fostering a high-performing, collaborative environment that supports the business's evolving needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with Lenovo's business objectives for IT Services and Global Sales, ensuring an agile, high-performing workforce.
  • Talent Management & Development: Design and implement talent acquisition, retention, and leadership development programs to attract, develop, and retain top sales and services talent.
  • Organizational Design & Change Management: Support business transformation initiatives by optimizing organizational structure, workforce planning, and change management strategies.
  • Culture & Engagement: Foster a high-performance, inclusive culture that enhances employee engagement and aligns with Lenovo's values.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Establish partnerships and collaboration with other Human Resource teams such as Talent Acquisition, Compensation, and Learning & Development.
  • Total Rewards: Collaborate with the Total Rewards Team to maintain competitive compensation for internal talent and new hires. Utilize incentive plans to attract top sales talent and ensure performance-based differentiation.
  • Employee Relations & Compliance: Ensure compliance with global labor laws and HR best practices, while effectively managing employee relations and conflict resolution.
  • HR Analytics & Workforce Planning: Utilize HR data and analytics to drive strategic workforce planning, performance metrics, and HR decision-making.
  • People Leadership: Lead and develop a small global HR team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth. Provide mentorship, performance management, and strategic direction to ensure alignment with business goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 15+ years of HR leadership experience, with a strong background in sales and IT services environments.
  • Proven ability to influence and partner with senior executives in a global, matrixed organization.
  • Experience driving large-scale organizational change and talent transformation initiatives.
  • Deep knowledge of global HR practices, employment laws, and compliance regulations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and developing global HR teams.
This role offers the flexibility to be home-based anywhere in the U.S. within the Eastern or Central time zones. If you're near our Chicago or Raleigh offices, we follow a friendly hybrid model with three days a week in the office-great for collaboration and connection! The base salary range budgeted for this position is $170,000 to $220,000. Individuals may also be considered for bonuses and/or commissions.
