Job Description
We are currently hiring a Line Leader in Cincinnati, OH. The Line Leader has full accountability for a given line. This includes line results, the Daily Management Systems (DMS), and the performance of their line. They are responsible for managing and improving results necessary to achieve the key performance metrics by applying the TPM/IWS toolkit. Reporting to the Brewery Packaging Manager, this position is responsible for the packaging line's safety, quality, efficiency, and team development of the packaging liYou'llhat You'll Brew:
- Manage 24-hour line operations. This includes coordinating operations and maintenance efforts to make sure planned work is completed while still executing the packaging schedule. Strong floor presence (60%+ time spent on the floor) engaging coworkers.
- Lead organization through the TPM/IWS Phase Journey.
- Lead and execute the plan to improve line results.
- Clearly understand department priority and improve technical or system aspects of the business.
- Lead and set direction during Line Daily Direction Setting (DDS) work process to deliver target results.
- Report out on the following during the DDS: Safety & Quality metrics; Clean, Inspect, & Lubricate and DefectDMS'sling DMS's; and Production attainment results.
- Provide coaching to team leaders in the shift exchange DDS meeting.
- Review incident investigations as needed and as part of HS&E reviews.
- Develop the Line Master / 90-Day Plans to address losses and build capability.
- Lead execution of 90 Day Plans to eliminate losses using TPM/IWS tools.
- Monthly review of Line Master Plans and results.
- Drive breakthrough results in OEE, Planned and Unplanned Downtime while delivering against the Master Production Schedule.
- Coach necessity & use of UPS, including 6W2H & speed of execution.
- Own Defect HandlinDMS's CIL DMS's for line(s).
- Develop regular maintenance task lists for equipment and perform tasks with team members, develop solutions, and proactively reapply solutions to prevent future failures/issues.
- Perform hands-on coaching (actual usage) on DMS's RTT DMS's.
- Work with Process Leaders and Maintenance Leader to execute weekly Health Checks, identifying gaps in system, and implementing appropriate countermeasures.
- Coach DMS owners on DMS execution & provide support to achieve DMS targets (Input / Output measures).
- Coach the use of standard work to eliminate non-value added work, including coaching the link to effort reduction.
- Must observe and ensure adherence to practices and compliance to all safety and sanitation standards as well as GMP guidelines.
- Drive a proactive safety culture through use of safety triggers; risk assessment; behavioral safety observations; and elimination of unsafe conditions in area of responsibility.
- Ensures product quality meets company and customer requirements/standards while helping "o ensure "No quality concerned products leaves t"e brewery".
- Assists in establishing andKPI'sring KPI's in area of responsibility meet/exceed department objectives.
- Ensure policies and procedures are administered in a fair and consistent manner.
- Supports the brewery performance management process. Prepare and conducts performance reviews of direct reports.
- Responsible for efficient packaging operation through process, and people development while improving equipment reliability.
- Participates in interviewing and selection process for salaried and hourly team members.
- Drive standardization and consistency in routines through continual development and revision of standard operating procedures within the packaging area through Packaging Supervisors.
- Creates and fosters a team environment that demonstrates genuine concern for personal and professional development of all employees.
- Communicates effectively with all employees, operations management, and a variety of externa constituents and vendors.
- Work overtime as needed which may require 12-hour days, weekends, and holidays.Able to flex schedule to reach all shifts and days as needs occur.

- 4+ years of demonstrated leadership experience in manufacturing/CPG environment or engineering (mechanical or electrical).
- In-depth understanding and track record of having delivered operational processes that drive safety, cost and production improvements.

- Ability to work with all levels of management in multi-functional department.
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

- All production roles are required to pass a pre-employment physical exam to comply with their specific role requirement(s)
- Certain roles may require the use of a respirator and passing the associated fit test.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs, sometimes repeatedly.
- Regular walking and standing for long periods of time (up to 11 hours a day) on concrete, metal and grated surfaces.
- Responsibilities may require crouching, stepping over, crawling under, bending, twisting, climbing and reaching above head and shoulders repeatedly throughout the day.
- Responsibilities may require climbing flights of stairs, working from heights or on elevated platforms.
- Ability to wear assigned PPE (safety shoes, gloves, facemask, hearing protection and hard hat).
- Established dexterity so you can handle materials, operate equipment and interface with computer systems with precision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in high speed bottling environment preferred.
- Specific Technical Mastery preferred.
Level: 6 In accordance with pay transparency lawsthe salary range for this role if hired is $66,300 - $130,000 annually based on location and the experience level of the candidate. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance. Certain sales positions are also eligible for car allowance.
