The Manager, Health System Marketing Strategy will be a key member of the Vaccines Marketing team, responsible for driving strategic alignment and execution across the portfolio for health system customers. This individual will lead initiatives that position our vaccine brands as critical components of health system success-supporting population health, quality performance, and value-based care goals. The role will collaborate across brand teams and market access to ensure integrated planning and delivery that reflects the needs and priorities of IDNs, ACOs, and other organized customers.

Strategic Marketing & Planning
  • Shape and execute a cohesive marketing strategy that aligns the vaccine portfolio with the goals of U.S. health systems.
  • Partner with brand teams to embed health system insights and customer needs into annual and long-range brand planning.
  • Lead development of key strategic narratives for Field and HQ strategy that position the vaccine portfolio as a driver of system-level outcomes (e.g., quality metrics, disease prevention, cost containment).
Cross-Brand & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Act as the central point of coordination between brand marketing, market access, field strategy, and medical affairs to deliver a unified experience for system customers.
  • Facilitate brand team alignment on messaging, resource needs, and tactical execution specific to health systems.
Customer Segmentation & Targeting
  • Partner with analytics and segmentation teams to identify and prioritize high-opportunity systems based on market dynamics, VBC readiness, and public health goals.
  • Translate customer segmentation into actionable marketing plans and tailored field strategies.
Omnichannel Engagement Strategy
  • Develop and execute omnichannel marketing campaigns targeted to health system stakeholders.
  • Design content and resources that demonstrate vaccine portfolio value across populations, clinical roles, and care settings.
Content & Resource Development
  • Lead creation of system-facing value communication tools, including population health impact models, quality improvement guides, and brand-integrated education platforms.
  • Ensure marketing materials resonate with multiple stakeholders: clinical leadership, population health teams, pharmacy, and quality improvement executives.
Launch & Portfolio Integration
  • Ensure seamless integration of new vaccine launches into the broader health system strategy.
  • Collaborate with launch and lifecycle teams to create customer-centric messages that reinforce the role of vaccines in long-term prevention.
Performance Tracking & Insight Generation
  • Define KPIs and track health system marketing effectiveness across touchpoints.
  • Synthesize field insights and customer feedback to optimize marketing strategy and execution.
Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Public Health, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare/pharmaceutical marketing, preferably with exposure to provider systems or value-based care.

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • MBA or MPH preferred.
  • Strong strategic thinking and experience translating complex concepts into clear, compelling marketing plans.
  • Experience working in matrix environments across brand, access, and field strategy teams.
  • Familiarity with health system customer segments, population health priorities, and quality measurement frameworks (e.g., HEDIS, Stars).
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
