The Project Sourcing Manager is responsible for ensuring all sourcing requests are executed in line with business strategy and priorities, as synthesized by the Business Partner, including preferred supplier arrangements and contracting requirements (associated statements of work, change orders, or similar documents). The Project Sourcing Manager works with the Business Partner to understand and translate requirements to supplier deliverables with associated acceptance criteria, and execute fit-for-purpose processes by applying appropriate methodologies, tools, and value levers to meet defined deadlines. The Project Sourcing Manager partners with stakeholders to ensure a robust and transparent evaluation and selection process is followed. To support end-to-end value delivery, the role collaborates closely with Business Partners and the Category Management teams to translate business requirements into robust sourcing strategies. The Project Sourcing Manager acts as a key point of contact for Direct Procurement during the product development process within the scope of their responsibility. Through continuous improvement methodologies, this role delivers consistent business-relevant value through gaining operational efficiencies and driving optimal supplier performance. As part of the procurement process the role also collaborates with legal and / or contracting functions to support contracting activities such as the preparation and review of master agreements, statements of work, change orders, or similar documents. The Project Sourcing Manager has knowledge of business enterprise tools (e.g. SAP) and the overall procurement process / methodology, such as documenting requirements, conducting analysis and negotiations, and communicating with stakeholders and suppliers. The role has a strong understanding of internal stakeholder functions and requirements, and effectively translates business needs into procurement requirements and actions. The Project Manager has deep knowledge of project management, the product development process, and Roche's category and supplier management approach, and applies this expertise to project needs. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Tucson, AZ is $ 99,500.00 - 184,900.00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
