The Sr Director, Data & Analytics is responsible for completing the company's financial reporting package including related disclosures while managing the ERP and consolidation solutions. You will serve as the Finance Department's liaison to Information Technology staff, vendor resources, and other staff resources that utilize financial systems. * Leads teams responsible for architecture, governance, data acquisition, analytics and production support

* Manage resources dedicated to keep the system uptime, improve performance and continuously drive improvement to meet the scale of the business

* Define, develop and manage data analytics strategy, roadmap and multi-year execution plan working cross-functionally with other parts of digital and IT function
|
* Introduces innovative, differentiating ideas that enhance our overall competitive capabilities and improve employee productivity while delivering best end user experience
|
* Builds successful stakeholder relationships with other digital and business key stakeholders by developing a clear understanding of business needs, acting as a trusted advisor, and ensuring cost-effective delivery of digital and IT services to meet those needs

* Collaborates with the security organization to embrace and apply security strategy

* Defines, develops, and manages a comprehensive and integrated data life cycle to serve actionable insights

* Partners with Enterprise Architect by implementing analytics solutions that align to the enterprise architecture framework and roadmap

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
- 12+ years of experience in IT
- 8+ years of people leadership experience
- 12+ years of experience managing complex data environments, including those employing Databricks, Snowflake and other popular data platforms
- Expert level experience as a data and analytics leader, with extensive background in modern data governance structures (e.g., data lakehouse modeling, data pipelines, and data mesh).
- Operate as seasoned team leader and is energized by growing, motivating, and leading global teams technical managers, data stewards, and data engineers both internal and external

Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters Degree
- 15+ years experience, including 10+ years of people leadership experience
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to develop and communicate the data and analytics vision that inspires and motivates staff and aligns with the data and digital strategy
- Superior influencing and negotiation skills in complex environments where resources required for success may not be in direct control of this role
- Evangelizing and implementing transformational initiatives where the target state included agile, DevOps, SRE, cloud adoption at scale to build enterprise data ecosystem
- Strong background and knowledge of master data management, data governance, reporting tools such as Tableau, PowerBi, Thoughtspot etc.
- Consolidating operations capabilities in large, complex enterprise organizations to deliver improved efficiency, while balancing customer preferences for agility.
- Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning, and execution skills
- Ability to build consensus, make decisions based on many variables, and gain support for major initiatives
- Building cloud management solutions, including software development, integration, and ongoing engineering aspects
- Creating self-service mechanisms to streamline infrastructure provisioning and ongoing management
- Budget planning and financial management, preferably with showback and/or chargeback models
- Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies and practices, and how other enterprises are employing them
- Establishing and improving DevSecOps, as well as other working practices (e.g., ITIL)
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a strategic staffing plan that ensures the right people are in the right roles at the right time, and employees are highly engaged and satisfied
- Third-party management, working closely with sourcing and vendor managers

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $162,500 - $250,000 (+ 30-35% bonus) in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls.
