About the Role

Our Account Group Supervisor plans, coordinates, and directs campaigns for agency clients in select channels. Translates client's business objectives and challenges into strategic-based solutions. Leads client relationship, anticipates client needs (short term / long term) and proactively addresses issues with clients and internal agency teams.

What You'll Do



  • Provides leadership role for client and agency cross-functional teams
  • Responsible for the strategic development and implementation of programs. Ensures that all professional activities are in-line with the agreed upon strategic direction, brand objectives and strategies and client policies
  • Develops and presents Brand Plans to clients in partnership with Strategy colleagues
  • Leads and supervises all activities with agency team members
  • Reviews monthly and quarterly financial tracking reports with Finance leads and present reports to client brand management
  • Formulates plans to extend business with established accounts
  • Supervises and participates in new-business development


What You'll Need



  • Pharmaceutical marketing acumen, proven ability to listen to clients, understand brand challenges and translate into actionable marketing recommendations
  • Passion for innovation, learning and data-driven marketing
  • Experience with (direct or indirect) media strategy, planning and execution in Pharma
  • Track record of being in or building high performing teams that encourage expansive thinking, inclusion and going beyond the status-quo
  • Proven ability to build strong client relationships and problem solve
  • Excellent communication skills with experience presenting strategic and tactical plans to senior management
  • Sound financial skills - has prepared budgets, staffing plans, and statement / scope of work plans
  • 6+ years in Pharmaceutical Advertising, HCP marketing and/or Media
  • Excellent account management skills including: organized, proactive, efficient, and effective at ensuring positive results
  • Bachelor's Degree, MBA, MPH or advanced degree preferred
  • Excellent client engagement skills including: proactive communication, meeting management, presentation development and delivery, responsive to questions/issues
  • Excellent team management including strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Financial management skills including: project budgets, weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports, annual SOW
  • Ability to think and work independently and as an extension of account and creative leadership
  • Ability to collaborate across disciplines within Ogilvy Health to fortify current business and seek organic (current) and new (pitch) business growth opportunities

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. Pay Range
$110,000 $150,000 USD
