THE JOB:

It is the responsibility of the Casino Porter to provide excellent guest service and create a safe and friendly environment for employees and guests while establishing and maintaining the cleanliness of assigned areas in the Casino and public areas.

THE STARTING RATE:$20.8111 hourly

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Sweeps and removes debris, including wrappers, broken glass, and ashtrays, to maintain a clean environment.

• Cleans and dusts slot machines, ensuring all surfaces, including spaces between machines, doors, and woodwork, are spotless.

• Removes scuff marks and cleans up drink spills to maintain floor cleanliness.

• Handles and sanitizes biohazard areas following proper safety protocols.

• Cleans and polishes slot chairs, ensuring they are in pristine condition before repositioning them properly.

• Vacuums assigned areas thoroughly, moving chairs and objects as needed to ensure a deep clean.

• Empties trash, replaces missing ashtrays, and cleans all ashtrays and trash receptacles.

• Ensures all equipment is properly returned to the department and reports any malfunctioning equipment.

• Monitors and replenishes supplies as needed to maintain efficiency.

• Provides prompt and effective responses to guest inquiries and concerns, proactively identifying and resolving potential challenges.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Ability to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.

• 6+ Months of Prior Relevant Experience in general cleaning.

• Experience in guest facing customer service.
