Your Day-to-Day:

The responsibilities for the electrical supervisor are very similar, with a focus on overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems including power distribution systems, substations, high voltage systems, low voltage systems, and SCADA systems.

This role involves:

• Developing work schedules, coordinating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals, and planning resource allocations including labor, equipment, and materials.
• Provide training, mentoring, and support to team members, monitor workforce performance, and resolve personnel issues as needed.
• Ensure that all work complies with project specifications, electrical codes, and safety standards, perform inspections to verify system performance, and maintain detailed records of quality control processes.
• Supply information to the project manager regarding budgetary constraints and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality or safety.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards, participating in safety meetings, and conducting regular site walks to assess progress and identify challenges are also key responsibilities.
• Act as the main point of contact for all electrical aspects of the project and provide regular progress updates to the project manager, construction manager, and stakeholders

Who Are You:

• 5-7 years of electrical experience on wind turbine systems, including experience with power distribution systems, high voltage, low voltage and substations.
• A 4-year electrical degree from ABET-Certified school required.
• Direct experience with Vestas system is a plus.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA, FERC regulations and electrical codes necessary.
• Familiar with Microsoft Suite applications, Bluebeam, no required but beneficial.
