The Miller Center of Public Affairs, a nonpartisan affiliate of the University of Virginia (UVA), seeks candidates for the position of Research Fellow. The one-year position will be located within the Center's Presidential Oral History Program and will support the Program's efforts to conduct oral histories of recent presidential administrations. Established in 1975 through a generous gift from entrepreneur and philanthropist Burkett Miller, the Miller Center of Public Affairs specializes in presidential scholarship, public policy, and political history. It strives to apply the lessons of history and civil discourse to the nation's most pressing contemporary governance challenges. Compensation and Benefits The anticipated salary for this position is $70,000. This is a full-time, benefited position. Additional Position Information This appointment is for twelve months. Renewal for an additional twelve months is possible, subject to the availability of funds, performance, and need.
