Position Title:EHR Product Manager II - Rev Cycle / Patient Experience (Level II or III) Department:IT Care Delivery Applications Job Description: This position may be filled as an EHR Product Manager II or III depending on individual education, experience, and other qualifications. This position may be performed remotely from the following locations within the United States of America: Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

The EHR Product Manager II will play a crucial role in overseeing the development, enhancement, and implementation of our electronic health records (EHR) software. The EHR Product Manager II will understand the current state of supported software, work to understand the full capabilities and future capabilities of supported software, and work with operational owners and Enterprise Technology Solutions (ETS) leadership to define and maintain a roadmap for all future enhancements, integrations and upgrades. This role will demonstrate subject matter expertise by pulling from a wealth of knowledge gained through careful research and past experiences to accurately identify cross-application and technical considerations of the EHR product they support and apply that expertise by leading project scoping and implementations.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy in alignment with the company's overall goals and market demands.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and competitor offerings to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

  • Create and maintain a product roadmap outlining the release schedule and feature prioritization. Ensure that the roadmap reflects customer feedback, business objectives, and technological capabilities.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, software engineers, and quality assurance testers, to translate requirements into actionable features. Provide clear direction and requirements documentation to guide the development process.

  • Oversee the testing and validation of new features to ensure they meet quality standards and regulatory compliance. Conduct usability testing and gather feedback from beta users to iterate and improve the product.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, external partners, and customers regarding product updates, roadmap changes, and feature requests. Maintain open lines of communication to address concerns and gather feedback.

  • Ensure that product projects are meeting needs of the organization and are being implemented timely.

  • Ensure adoption of product and new features are being utilized.

Minimum Qualifications

Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree required.

Experience Requirements: 3-5 years of applicable IT experience required.

License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required:

  • Certification in 2 or more Epic Applications is required.

  • PMP or Epic Cogito Project Manager certification required

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:

  • Expert understanding of electronic health records (EHR) systems, healthcare workflows, and clinical processes.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Expert level proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.

  • Expert level familiarity with Agile development practices.

  • Expert level knowledge of healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA, HITECH, and Meaningful Use.

  • Ability to prioritize competing demands and make data-driven decisions.
