POSITION SUMMARY

Golf Pro Shop Associates assist in the daily operations of the golf pro shop & course. The Pro Shop Associate will be a team-player, &provide superior customer service to all guests & members. This is a summer seasonal position that pays $20.00/hour.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Open & close the Pro Shop
  • Operate cash register & appropriate software to reconcile daily tee sheets, performs check-in, & receive payments
  • Enforces existing policies & regulations with support from the Golf Management team
  • Responsible for proactively interacting with guests & members to ensure an excellent experience
  • Answer the phone, make tee times, & ensure a full deposit is collected for all daily play fees
  • Provide information regarding various resort programs & activities
  • Ensures all stock is out of storage & on the sales floor
  • Assists with inventory count at the end of each month
  • Additional duties as assigned


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Education:
  • High School Degree or equivalent, required

Experience:
  • Previous experience working on a golf course, preferred
  • Previous retail experience, preferred
  • Active golf player, preferred


QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Customer service focused
  • Knowledge of golf etiquette and play


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
