The Pro Shop Associate will be a team-player, &provide superior customer service to all guests & members. This is a summer seasonal position that pays $20.00/hour. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Open & close the Pro Shop Operate cash register & appropriate software to reconcile daily tee sheets, performs check-in, & receive payments Enforces existing policies & regulations with support from the Golf Management team Responsible for proactively interacting with guests & members to ensure an excellent experience Answer the phone, make tee times, & ensure a full deposit is collected for all daily play fees Provide information regarding various resort programs & activities Ensures all stock is out of storage & on the sales floor Assists with inventory count at the end of each month Additional duties as assigned EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School Degree or equivalent, required Experience: Previous experience working on a golf course, preferred Previous retail experience, preferred Active golf player, preferred QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS: Customer service focused Knowledge of golf etiquette and play PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
