The Lead Digital Product Manager for the UnitedHealthcare mobile app is responsible for overseeing the development and management of the mobile application throughout its entire lifecycle. This includes strategy, design, product definition, planning, production, release, and end-of-life stages.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Planning/Product Vision: Contribute to 2026+ planning including business case creation and preparing supporting material. Align with engineering and architecture lead to better understand the technical improvements needed for the mobile platform
  • Feature Creation and Refinement: Crafting and refining features (partnering with design, engineering manager, and solution architect) for the mobile app, ensuring they align with business goals and user needs
  • Mobile Governance Lead: Participate in mobile governance serving as product lead to ensure all new federated feature development aligns to mobile best practices
  • Vendor Liasson: Manage new and existing strategic vendor partnerships
  • Demo app lead: Build out roadmap for demo app and work with engineering to execute enhancements. Host feedback sessions with advocates to ensure demo app meets their needs
  • Backlog Prioritization: Managing and prioritizing the backlog of work for scrum teams, ensuring teams are working on the most important features

Required Qualifications:



  • 4+ years as a digital product manager on an agile product development team in a healthcare company
  • Experience working with mobile apps
  • Experience working in AHA
  • Understanding of scrum and agile principles
  • Proven ability to translate business problems and user needs into features
  • Proven success working in a complex matrixed environment

The salary range for this role is $106,800 to $194,200 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
