In this role, you will lead the development and execution of the communications strategy across the Americas manufacturing facilities. What you will be doing: Facilitate the day-to-day flow of information among Plant, Distribution Center (DC), Transportation, and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective messaging, communication channels, and overall hourly communications processes. Develop communication objectives, align strategies, and implement effective tactics to support business goals. Prescribe a wide range of innovative communication approaches across various mediums and formats, collaborating with multiple internal stakeholders. Maintain strong relationships with business partners, including operations management, HR, facilities, brand and communications and identify communication breakdowns within teams and facilities, and proactively work to resolve issues. Lead hands-on execution of communication deliverables, including copywriting, editing, layout, production, photoshoots, proofreading, project coordination, and tracking of communication metrics. Advocate for Plant and DC hourly employees and serve as culture and employee experience lead at facilities. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree with concentration in English, Communications, Marketing, Media Production, or related field. Minimum 7 years' experience in Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, Marketing, or Branding. Evidence of advanced technical, creative, or business writing experience. Desired Skills and Experience Proactive and strategic thinking with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of a manufacturing environment or operations experience. Note: This role will be working from our Grand Rapids, Michigan plants and distribution center on-site 4-5 days per week.
