Job Summary

Danfoss is seeking a multi-site Facilities Manager with an ideal background in HVAC engineering. This key role will focus on the day-to-day facility needs, capital improvements, and operational duties. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and creative problem solver!



Responsibilities

- Works closely with Global Services real-estate team and all functional areas of the business to meet organizational goals of multiple active development projects. These projects can encompass construction, building remodelling, energy savings, security, branding, landscaping, office leasing and footprint strategy.

- Coordinate with contractors and vendors on any facility related repairs and projects.

- Directly responsible for day-to-day facility activities for Shawnee Oklahoma, Longmont Colorado and Newbern Tennessee. The position will be based out of Shawnee with seventy percent of the job being focused on Shawnee, Oklahoma.

- Engage with Finance and Procurement to ensure proper execution of purchase orders, departmental charges, cost control of expense and capital budgets.

- Proficient understanding of building systems (Security, HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, BMS)

- BMS: Monitor and review mechanical systems software platform.

- Work closely with GS organizational matrix and local business managers to develop project schedules and ensures timely completion of project activities and within budget.

- Travel to business sites to work on projects or resolve issues as needed.

- Ensure effective and timely understanding and communication of project status, risks, and resource requirements.

- Helps coordinate projects with local contractors, engineering firms and vendors for Global Services.

- Support Environmental and Safety initiatives at each site and any ESG initiatives.

Qualifications

- Preferably to have a bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Science or Engineering.

- Proficient using Microsoft Office.

- Proficient using AutoCAD.

- Be able to review and understand blueprints, building drawings and schematic diagrams.

- Previous project management experience is preferred.

- Possesses solid general cross-functional understanding in such areas as building systems, operations, finance, and procurement.

- Demonstrated ability to execute projects with urgency and high quality.

- Proven skills in building relationships and influencing all levels involved in the projects.

- The candidate must be able to work in a team atmosphere, and must possess strong communication, decision making, interpersonal skills in an organizational matrix.
