Regional Manager, Great Lakes

Directly responsible for leading and managing all sales-related activities for the assigned region. Responsible for the management and development of the clinical specialist.

Responsibilities:



  • Drive regional sales to 100 % to plan.
  • Develop a strategic market analysis and business plan for region.
  • Execute the sales strategy for the territory with the participation of the Clinical Specialist and ORS. Actively manage the day-to-day activities for the ORS & Clinical Specialist in the region.
  • Prepare a written monthly business review and analysis for the region. Meet, discuss and act on the specific customer needs in the region.
  • Attend and participate at in-house quarterly regional staff meetings.
  • Coordinate and lead regional sales activities and direct ongoing regional team plans, focused on surgeons, audiologist and hospital administration.
  • Maintain and expand current center base through ongoing support activities that include visits, training, education, communication and appropriate technical/audio logical/customer service support. Develop and maintain strong relationships with decision makers at all accounts.
  • Develop business and sales opportunities in existing implant centers. Allocate necessary and appropriate company resources.
  • Perform annual and semi-annual reviews for Clinical Specialist and Operating Room Specialist.
  • Attend/support and/or present at appropriate local, regional and national meetings that target our customers - otolaryngologists, audiologists, patient base.
  • Communicate and work with other company departments to provide support/solve field related issues.
  • Provide leadership, support and coaching to Clinical Specialists in order to strengthen their sales skills.
  • Complete other regional projects and assignments as needed.



Travelling Requirement: 60% or more

Education



  • Bachelor's degree


Nice to Have



  • Participation in professional courses and organizations is a plus.



Work Experience



  • Minimum 5-10 years in audiology or applicable experience, preferably at a Cochlear Implant center.
  • Minimum of 2 years, outside customer support or sales.
  • Cochlear implant programming experience helpful.


Nice to Have



  • Previous direct or related sales experience a plus.



Personal Competencies



  • Personable and persistent leadership style, respected by peers and professionals in related field.
  • Competitive nature and desire to win.



Leadership Competencies



  • Must have managed or directed the activities of small (4-6) people organization for at least 2 years.



Professional Competencies



  • Knowledge of hearing aid and cochlear implant technology and devices.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver small or large group sales, technical or training presentations.



Language(s)/ Level



  • English/ Proficient



A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova

This role's pay range is between $109,600/yr - $164,400yr (based on location). This role is also commission eligible.
