Position Summary:

The Communications & Multimedia Specialist leads the creation, production, and editing of engaging multimedia content (videos, audio, photos, and social media posts), managing the full process from concept to delivery across digital platforms to promote Dollar Bank's products, services, and initiatives while enhancing engagement with customers, employees, and the community. Producing high-quality, original written content into clear, compelling stories, and refining materials to align with brand strategy this position plays a pivotal role in amplifying our brand's voice. The Communications & Multimedia Specialist collaborates with internal teams to plan and execute events, overseeing production elements like audio-visual components to ensure successful outcomes that align with organizational goals. This role is responsible for developing and implementing effective multimedia and social media strategies that support Dollar Bank's brand and business objectives, managing content planning, publishing, and performance analysis to boost engagement and brand presence.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or related field. Will consider commensurate experience

3+ years of multimedia experience is required including video, audio, graphics, animation, interactive elements, and photography

Experience in video production, including scripting and editing.

Previous experience in a storytelling or writing role.

Proficiency in digital tools including Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, Media Encoder), Canva, and other video editing software, as needed.

Expertise in social media management platforms, social media monitoring and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite)

A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle is required.

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:

Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a strong attention to detail.

Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas for content and communication strategies.

Ability to create clear, concise and compelling content tailored to various audiences across multiple formats.

Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines.

A self-starter- the ability to peer around corners and anticipate needs in a fast-paced environment.

A collaborative team player with a positive and solution-oriented mindset.

Ability to leverage storyboarding to communicate and establish structure and plan video and animation projects

Able to work weekend and evening hours as required.

Can work independently and prioritize tasks to meet quality and deadline expectations.

Experience utilizing a drone is a plus.

Essential Functions:

Content creation and editing

Lead the end-to-end creation and production of engaging content (videos, audio, social media content, and photos) including concept development, scripting, storyboarding, filming, editing, and final delivery for use across digital platforms such as social media, website and intranet to enhance customer, employee and/or community engagement and effectively promote Dollar Bank's products, services and initiatives.

Ensure timely production and delivery of video content, meeting established deadlines.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create customized multimedia content and provide social media support that meets their specific needs and goals, enhances digital engagement and extends the reach of key messages.

Work with internal teams to produce and/or edit compelling presentations that advance the organization's mission and strengthen partner engagement.

Plan and support events

Work with the internal teams to develop and execute the vision for events, including but not limited to managing production elements including audio and visual elements, and facilitating their successful execution.

Writing

Develop high-quality, original content across multiple formats including long and short form narratives, blog posts, stories of impact, op-eds, newsletter articles, thought pieces, and more.

Translate complex ideas into clear, engaging narratives that make financial services accessible to diverse audiences.

Craft compelling storytelling campaigns by interviewing employees, community members, and other stakeholders to highlight their experience and insights.

Edit and refine content for clarity, tone, and impact, ensuring all written materials align with the organization's brand and messaging strategy.

Stay ahead of industry trends in financial services, media, and digital content to ensure messaging remains relevant, innovative, and engaging.

Strategy, Planning and Execution

Develop and execute comprehensive multimedia content strategies and plans that directly align with Dollar Bank's brand and business objectives.

Manage and execute the strategy for all social media channels, overseeing content planning, creation, publishing, and community management.

Track and analyze performance metrics, engage with customers through comments and direct messages, and adjust content strategies to optimize member interaction, grow followers, and increase brand presence.

Manage social media accounts, including scheduling posts and monitoring engagement and analyzing performance.
