The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $44,000-$60,500 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

As a Mechanical Installation Technician at Dematic Corp., you will:

• Coordinate the layout and pre-assembly of conveyor systems, ensuring flawless component integration.
• Install header steel, platforms, structural steel, and various mechanical components with precision.
• Assemble and align conveyors, guard rails, racks, and air piping (aluminum, copper, black iron).
• Interpret and work from detailed mechanical drawings, layout diagrams, and assembly instructions to successfully implement project plans.
• Collaborate with electrical and controls teams during the installation and commissioning phases to ensure seamless integration.
• Conduct detailed mechanical pre-start checks and operational testing, assisting in troubleshooting any mechanical faults that arise.
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols, and company quality standards to maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintain accurate installation records, inspection reports, and test documentation to support project completion.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas organized and in a safe condition.
• Be ready for a role that involves 100% travel, with extensive trips across the U.S.

• Hold at least a high school diploma or equivalent experience, with technical degrees or specialized training preferred.
• Have reliable transportation for travel to job sites anywhere in the U.S.
• Can acquire OSHA 10 certification upon hire.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience and knowledge in installing and/or maintaining conveyor equipment is preferred.
• Some computer experience, with basic skills in emailing, spreadsheet input, and report input.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
