Junior Network Management Systems Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Network Management Systems Engineer to join our growing Network Engineering team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an early-career technologist to gain hands-on experience in network automation, DDI services (DNS, DHCP, IPAM), and network performance monitoring, all within a collaborative and innovative setting. Key Responsibilities- DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) Management: * Administer and support core DDI services * Handle ServiceNow DNS/DHCP requests * Troubleshoot misconfigurations and maintain documentation - Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting: * Monitor performance and respond to alerts * Investigate and resolve issues promptly - Automation & Scripting: * Develop and maintain Python scripts for DDI and network automation - Linux Support: * Provide Linux-related troubleshooting and integration support - Documentation & Reporting: * Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and performance Must-Have Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience - Understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, and subnetting - Choice of 3 health plans Visit http://jobs.virginia.edu/us/en/ and search for R0072509 to apply.
