ATC has immediate opening for a motivated, team member as a Lead R/F Field Engineer. Successful candidate will be responsible for system design input, development, construction, and testing prior to the operational deployment and fielding of these systems., consisting of Commercial Maritime Navigational Radars, RF Hardware, Digital Hardware, Microprocessors, Minicomputers and peripheral equipment. Work includes occasional travel to other customer sites locally, and around the globe. to assist in test events, operate systems during the event, and create reports accordingly. Responsibilities also include managing multiple customer projects and executing tasks on schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting technical activities related to production of customer required deliverables to include, but not limited to, program month end reports, monthly customer operational status reports, and system monthly usage reports that include usage data information for the program.
- Defining communications system requirements and assessing operational, mechanical requirements of rotating and fixed antennas
- Identifying critical parts, diagnosing and replacement of damaged elements
- Ability to work in an industrial/construction setting with forklifts, ladders, etc. and work at heights safely
- Ability to maintain tight control of tools and parts and provide accurate inventory
- Quick thinking ability to diagnose and make on-the-spot repair decisions
- Work with team to ensure repair parts and tools are requested/ordered/inventoried and prepped for travel to local or distant sites
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience with mechanical and industrial equipment use, design, troubleshooting and repair (including: experience with commercial maritime navigational radars; specifically in installation, repair and operations). Network expertise in Fiberoptic, Ethernet, and Rack installation.
- DAU certification is a plus.
- Candidates must have the ability to develop and analyze technical requirements, assess operational capability and diagnose problems in mechanical equipment, and then perform repair utilizing a multitude of tools from large to precision instruments.
- Experience working with multi-discipline teams (hardware/firmware/software) to produce advanced RF solutions.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with customers, management, and peers is required
Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Required Education:
Successful graduation in Electronic or Electrical Engineering Technology from technical institute above high school with a minimum curriculum length of two years or Military Technical School with minimum curriculum length of six months, or 10+ yrs technical &program management experience.
