TITLE: Production Assistant Manager

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Providing administrative assistance by ensuring efficient operations and managing production schedules. Monitoring quality standards and implementing quality rules to maintain production integrity. Coordinating team performance and ensuring effective communication among staff. Identifying operational issues and ensuring production meets deadlines. Monitor and implement the methods and responsibilities for the highest safe food and quality products complying with prescribed standards related to SQF code Ed. 9, ISO and FSC requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Business/Managing/Engineering or equivalent experience in related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Supervisor or Management experience.
  • Proficient in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
  • Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Production Planning and Scheduling:




    • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing machine and labor utilization.
    • Coordinate with sales and supply chain teams to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory management.
    • Monitor and adjust production schedules as needed to optimize resource utilization.




  • Quality Assurance:




    • Establish and enforce quality control standards to ensure products meet or exceed customer specifications.
    • Analyze production abnormalities to find out the root causes and make proper adjustments to make sure quality and safe food products are maintained.
    • Monitor and understand daily quality test results instruct supervisors to investigate any quality issues to make proper adjustments in a timely and effective manner.




  • Team Leadership:




    • Lead, motivate, and mentor the production team to achieve performance goals and maintain a positive work environment.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development.
    • Implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of production team members.




  • Process Improvement:




    • Analyze production abnormalities to find out the root causes and make prober adjustments to make sure quality and safe food products are maintained.
    • Work closely with engineering and maintenance teams to trouble-shoot machine problems which cause production abnormalities to optimize equipment performance.
    • Accountable for preparation and adherence to SOP's and SOC's for each line and ensure training is conducted in accordance with ISO certification.




  • Cost Control:




    • Develop, analyze, and manage the production process and purpose for possible cost reductions such as different product formula or lower operating supplies etc.
    • Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and report on budget variances.
    • Check on inventory each month and inspect the production process to find out the root causes of material loss such as rolls, ink, cool glue, hot glue and unreported scrap.




  • Health and Safety Compliance:




    • Ensure all safety regulations and company policies have been implemented, trained, and followed.
    • Implement and enforce safety protocols are being followed to create a secure working environment.
    • Ensure all personnel within department adhere to the safety guidelines as set in the Safety Policies and Procedures. Accountable for disciplinary actions for procedural violations.
    • May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
