Lab Technician

Pay / Schedule: $22/hr. Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm + OT Opportunity. At 50 hours per week, earn weekly paychecks of $1,210 gross

This Laboratory Technician role supports scientific research and routine lab operations under the direction of senior scientists. The technician performs a variety of lab tests and analyses using both standard and adapted procedures. Responsibilities include executing scheduled tasks, supporting equipment maintenance, recording experimental data, and assisting with specific technical projects.

Key Requirements:

• Laboratory Testing & Analysis: Ability to perform chemical and physical tests using standard and computerized equipment.
• Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Competency in setting up, adjusting, and operating lab instruments, and collaborating on repairs.
• Data Recording & Interpretation: Skilled in documenting results, observations, and conclusions accurately and clearly.
• Basic Chemistry Knowledge: Understanding of core chemistry principles, including ion exchange technologies (training provided).
