Job Summary

Perform leadership duties ensuring that all contributors are trained properly and working safely, accurately and efficiently.

Primary Duties

Key Responsibilities



  • Assist Supervisor in the safe and efficient operation of the department, standing-in for the Supervisor when necessary
  • Fully understand all jobs within your department
  • Ensure daily requirements are met or exceeded by monitoring and tracking productivity and accuracy of personnel
  • Maintain accurate records for department
  • Analyze process failures and recommend corrective actions
  • Other duties as assigned



Key Accountabilities



  • Use computer to enter data, create spreadsheets or documents and analyze data
  • Perform customer mis-shipment reviews
  • Execute SAP inventory adjustment transactions
  • Monitor contributors for standard operating procedure compliance
  • Coach, counsel, and train contributors
  • Assist supervisor in motivating personnel to perform at optimum productivity and accuracy levels
  • Manage workflow in department
  • Participate in department meetings and projects
  • Follow and promote company policies and procedures
  • Strive for continuous self-improvement, including participation in Learning & Development activities
  • Maintain neat, clean and well-organized work area
  • Timely and regular attendance

Qualifications

  • Excellent English speaking, reading and writing communication skills
  • Excellent math abilities
  • Competent in Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in time management, planning, and forward thinking; ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Positive interpersonal skills, maintaining calmness and confidentiality in challenging situations
  • Ability to work with integrity, respect others, promote an environment of diversity and courtesy
  • Proficient in analyzing, problem solving, and making decisions to identify and develop solutions to problems
  • Must be self-motivated, detail oriented and demonstrate a sense of urgency
  • Willingness to work overtime, as required
  • Physical Requirement: Must be able to properly lift and stack up to 45pounds.
  • Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and use hands to touch, grasp, handle and feel items. Noise level is usually moderate.

Education / Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to three months related experience and/or training
