Strategic Street & College Representative - 1+ year of experience

Brand & Community Engagement Team

This is a 5-month, part-time (30 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Miami, FL (on-site Monday-Thursday, remote on Fridays).


Summary
We're seeking a dynamic and community-minded Strategic Street & College Representative to support our artists and brands by creating grassroots promotional opportunities, building authentic relationships, and activating campaigns across local markets and college campuses. This position plays a key role in driving regional engagement and expanding our reach through creative, community-focused marketing strategies.

Our Ideal Candidate


  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, community engagement, or music/entertainment industry



  • Passion for music, culture, and brand marketing with a strong foundation in campaign execution and relationship building



  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Google Docs



  • Familiar with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), content creation tools (Photoshop & Premiere a plus), and email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp)



  • Skilled in collaborating with internal teams, artists, and external partners such as influencers, brands, media outlets, and universities



  • Able to work independently and manage multiple campaigns and partnerships simultaneously



  • Flexible and adaptable to changing project needs and timelines



  • Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail



  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required



  • Leadership experience or group facilitation skills a plus




Job Description
In this role, you will promote artist and brand initiatives by connecting with regional colleges, local businesses, influencers, media outlets, and community organizations.

You'll partner with internal teams and external partners to build marketing campaigns that connect with fans and drive cultural engagement. This includes:




  • Pitching and securing local promo opportunities



  • Maintaining contact databases



  • Planning and executing virtual and in-person events



  • Recapping campaign performance for internal stakeholders



  • Contributing to creative ideation and brainstorming




You will also support ongoing outreach, relationship management, and creative programming that align with department goals and artist development strategies.


Education and Experience


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, media, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)



  • Background in marketing, music business, community engagement, or promotions



  • Experience working with youth, college groups, or regional markets is a plus

This opportunity is located in Miami, FL and requires on-site work Monday through Thursday, with remote work on Fridays (10:00 AM - 6:00 PM).

The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $20.00 - $22.40 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
