Join our team as a Security and Business Continuity Lead, serving as the organization's primary technical subject matter expert in physical security, emergency / crisis management, and business continuity and resiliency.

The Security Lead reports directly to the Vice President of EH&S, partnering with Risk Management, IT Security, and Site team members. In this role, you will be crucial in implementing, assessing, and maintaining rigorous programs ensuring the safety and resiliency of our plants, personnel, and product.

This is a hybrid role, with the requirement to be co-located at a Chromalloy facility and ability to travel up to 50% of the year.

  • San Diego, CA
  • Phoenix, AZ
  • Carson City, NV
  • San Antonio, TX


Additional locations are present within Florida, Georgia, Mexico, The Netherlands, Thailand, and the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities:




  • Develop and enforce standardized security protocols, policies, and procedures for the Chromalloy facilities.
  • Conduct regular security audits to identify potential weaknesses.
  • Serve as the super user and administrator for the company's security badging, surveillance, and alarm systems. Identify and build business cases where infrastructure systems require upgrade or improvement.
  • Develop and implement business continuity plans and strategies to ensure business operations can continue in the event of a crisis.
  • Conduct risk assessments / business impact assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to business operations.
  • Conduct regular workshops and drills, both tabletop and enacted, to test and improve site emergency action plans and business continuity plans.
  • Support sites during and after an emergency or pending threat, including providing regular reports to senior leadership on status of site and actions. Ensure after action reviews are completed and reviewed.
  • Support monthly reporting of security and business resiliency performance and key activities related to strategic initiatives and recovery plans.
  • Monitor data and alerts to identify trends or emerging risks and lead cross-functional teams on improvement and mitigation projects. This may include working with site leaders, operations, engineering, facilities, human resources, quality, IT, legal, and continuous improvement.
  • Train and coach site staff, inclusive of security guards, EHS, Facilities, etc. in security, emergency response, and business resiliency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legislation.



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's or master's degree in security management, criminal justice, business administration, meteorology, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as Physical Security Professional, Certified Business Continuity Professional / Manager, Incident Commander, etc. are a plus.
  • 12+ years of demonstrated experience and expertise in security, emergency response, incident command, and business resiliency. Law enforcement experience may be included.
  • In-depth knowledge of applicable Security and Business Continuity standards and practices, including ISO 22301, and ability to coach and train others in these requirements.
  • Familiarity with Security monitoring and surveillance systems and proficiency in leveraging technology for compliance tracking, threat detection, reporting, and data analysis/visualization.
  • Experience conducting business impact assessments and developing plans to mitigate threats to business operations.
  • Must be co-located at a Chromalloy facility, with the ability to travel up to 50% of time.
