Senior Engineer - Mine Tailings Studies

Prepare technical scopes of work for mining tailings facility systems such as water and slurry transportation, processing equipment, and infrastructure to align project scope with business objectives. Conduct studies on infrastructure such as industrial water barges and pump systems to support the process water requirements for the mine's concentrator operations. Plan and assess storage options for mine tailings exceeding the facility's existing capacity. Optimize material production equipment and systems used for dam construction. Review, oversee, and correct technical reports, drawings, specifications, and models prepared by consultants. Manage projects through their numerous study stages and execution. Monitor, manage, and report all relevant project performance indicators to meet business requirements. Obtain approvals from both internal and external stakeholders to move the project through various development stages, implementation, and handover. Telecommuting permitted up to 50%. Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must have a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate related work experience. Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:
