Job Summary Coordinate daily instrument and control maintenance work on plant equipment consistent with standardized Vistra Company fleet practices, policies, and procedures.
Job Description Principal Accountabilities:
- Directly supervise maintenance instrumentation and controls personnel in the performance of repairs, testing, troubleshooting, modifications, calibrations, and other related activities in support of the maintenance program.
- Ensure station work groups perform assigned tasks per station work management processes and procedures.
- Ensure personnel are properly trained and qualified to perform assigned activities.
- Direct and coordinate activities related to scheduling, preparation, and performance of maintenance activities. Interface with other groups to resolve issues.
- Act as a Corrective Action Program analyst.
- Assist with budget preparation and tracking.
- Enforce the terms of the company/union agreement. Promptly investigate and settle grievances
- Perform Emergency Response Organization duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Three to five years nuclear experience in construction, maintenance, operations or engineering of which two years should be in a technical field
- Must reside within site-specific Emergency Response Organization response time
- *Shall have a minimum of five years' experience in instrumentation and control, of which a minimum of six months shall be in nuclear instrumentation and controls. Should have a minimum of two years related technical training. A maximum of one* year of this five years' experience may be fulfilled by related technical or academic training. (ANSI N18.1-1971, Section 4.4.2) *Although Section 4.4.2 only requires two years experience, four years of experience is included to ensure that the requirements of Section 4.3.2 are also addressed.
Preferred Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline or related field
- Three years of previous supervisory/leadership experience
