Contract Length: 3 years
Location Requirements: Candidates must reside in one of the following counties: Orange, Osceola, Polk, Lake, Seminole, or Volusia
Work Type: Field-based (Field mobility classification - frequent field travel required)
Work Hours: 40 hours/week
Overtime: Occasional (Estimated 1-5 hours/week)
Vehicle: Company commuter vehicle provided
Travel Requirements: Frequent travel to construction sites; available for after-hours events and on-call support
Position Summary
The Senior Stakeholder Engagement Manager is responsible for leading strategic outreach and public engagement efforts related to infrastructure and customer delivery projects. This includes substation and undergrounding projects. The role involves significant independent work, field presence, and cross-functional coordination to ensure seamless project execution and effective stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage strategic engagement plans for assigned projects
Prepare and coordinate external communications to property owners and stakeholders
Respond to and track stakeholder inquiries
Facilitate internal communication and alignment across departments
Participate in project meetings and pre-construction field reviews
Partner with government and community relations teams to define outreach strategies
Oversee creation and distribution of public-facing materials (e.g., letters, presentations)
Manage documentation and responses to public inquiries
Organize and lead public information meetings
Required Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in customer delivery/distribution (particularly in energy/utilities)
Strong communication and presentation skills
Proven ability to handle stakeholder relations and escalated issues
Project management knowledge
Microsoft Office proficiency
Community engagement background
Experience working with senior leadership and diverse teams
Budget and event planning experience
Strong organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $60 - $62 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
