Juniper's AI Driven Enterprise (AIDE) team is seeking a software developer to join our engineering team to design, develop, and test software related to the cloud-based network configuration and reporting system. This individual will be responsible for solving complex problems and designing subsystems that will make the Mist platform the premier Enterprise networking solution in the industry. Responsibilities Participate in team efforts to create AIDE standards for Micro-Services (APIs, schemas, serialization, data stores and best practices). Develop software using Python, Java and/or Go (golang). Develop highly scalable and fault-tolerant distributed systems. Develop software for AIDE's real-time data pipeline and batch processing. Build metrics, monitoring and structured logging. Write unit, integration and functional tests that make your code is safe for refactoring and continuous delivery. Automate all things. Participate in collaborative, DevOps style, lean practices with the rest of the team. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field 10+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on Python, Go or Java Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development Experience working with cloud technologies such as Kubernetes, Kafka or Storm Proficient in working with databases such as Redis or Cassandra Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Bonus Qualifications Knowledge of Enterprise Networking features, WiFi protocols and implementations. Working experience with Radius protocol, OAuth, SCIM, LDAP, MDM. Familiarity with microservices architecture Experience with distributed systems and large-scale data processing Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices #LI-JM1 Minimum Salary: $194,400.00 Maximum Salary:$279,450.00 The pay range for this position is expected to be between $194,400.00 and $279,450.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors. Juniper's pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations.
