A Day in the Life:
This role is responsible for filling in where needed within the Elevator department, performing tasks such as: operating the trackmobile, switching, weighing grain, testing samples, loading and transferring product etc.

Position Details:
The Relief Elevator Operator position is classification CRE Elev Utility - 1/Oper/Relie is assigned to 1st shift and the pay rate is $25.27 per hour. Shift begins at 6:30 AM and ends at 3:00 PM. Health and welfare benefits begin on date of hire.

What You'll Be Doing:
* Relieve all other elevator employees as directed.
* Exceptional verbal skills that facilitate customer service.
* Must have basic to intermediate level computer skills.
* Ability to switch and run the Trackmobile.
* Responsible for the operation of all machinery and equipment within the elevator.
* Responsible for the proper weighing and binning of inbound grain.
* Records data, secures samples and performs necessary tests, this includes Aflatoxin testing.
* Transfers and loads out grain and hominy.
* Manually probe grain trucks by following official procedure.
* Sweep & clean floors, walls, ceiling and equipment.
* Ability to work second shift when needed.
* All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
* Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
* Able to work a flexible work schedule and overtime when needed.
* Must be able to proficiently verbally communicate, read and write in English for the purposes of record keeping and quality training and processes.
* Able to read, write, and communicate effectively.
* Need to have the capability to work in a team environment and maintain positive working relationships with other colleagues.
* Need to be capable of working in varying climates and environment.
* Performs work in a manner that is in compliance with all policies and GMP rules.
* Reports any conditions that may put product quality at risk.
* Performs work in a safety conscious manner that is in compliance with all policies and procedures.
* Reports any conditions that pose a safety risk to personnel and/or property.
