Overview

Abacus Technology is seeking a Project Manager to support the Service Integration Office under the Enterprise Multimedia and Integrated Technical Services (eMITS) program at Kennedy Space Center. This is a full-time position.



Responsibilities

    Provide project management support for a variety of tasks.
  • Plan, coordinate, execute, monitor, and manage work, work requests, service lines and projects.
  • Create and/or modify documents such as Project Plans, requirements, test, and report documents in accordance with NASA regulations.
  • Develop and conduct briefings for senior management
  • Provide leadership ad guidance to teams in support accomplishing tasks.
  • Establish and maintain individual, low level, integrated schedules using Microsoft Project and maintain high-level correspondence with stakeholders.


Qualifications

8+ years experience in project management. Bachelor's degree in a related field. Must have project management experience with large, complex projects and multiple stakeholders. Must have strong supervisory and be able to lead a team in accomplishing each phase of the project life cycle. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including OneNote and One Drive as well as SharePoint. Mechanical/electrical knowledge desired. Familiarity with NASA and Kennedy Space Center processes and culture desired. Familiarity with NPR 7120.7, NASA IT Program and Project Management Requirements, NPR 7120.5, NASA Space Flight Program and Project Management Requirements desired. Possesses strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills. Must be proactive and results-oriented. Experience interfacing with managers at all levels and quickly resolving issues requiring tight deadlines. Must be a US citizen.
