The Space Systems Group, part of SPA's Space and Intelligence Division, provides timely and objective assessments and recommendations integrating technical, operational, programmatic, policy and business analysis. We focus on our key clients in the Space community including the US Space Force's Space Systems Command (USSF/SSC), which is one of the three designated USSF Field Commands. We work tirelessly to provide integrated solutions based on information and communications throughout the chain of command. We provide clear and consistent analysis and recommendations that are aligned to strategic and leadership goals while balancing the ability to execute on time and on budget within the technical communities. Responsibilities The Space Systems Command Space Systems Integration Office (SSC/BZ) is responsible for supporting and integrating current and future space acquisition programs, responding to warfighter requirements, evaluating emerging technologies, and communicating with international, commercial, and inter-agency partners. The successful candidate will provide direct support to BZ leadership and their staff as a member of the Directorate Acquisition Group (DAG). The SSC/BZ DAG tracks and manages communication products, taskers, and the Directorate's highest priority efforts. You will be in the premier space acquisition organization responsible for delivering space-based capabilities and effects to our warfighters and allied partners. Key duties associated with this role include but are not limited to the following:
