Purchasing Coordinator

Job Summary:

Responsible for maintaining all parts areas and inventory on a daily basis. This role includes assisting with the ordering, receiving, and organizing of parts, supplies, and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.

Schedule: M-F DAYS

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for observing all Company safety rules and regulations, recognize safety as top Company priority.
• Receive, bar code, label, and properly store all incoming parts and equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using the inventory management system.
• Monitor stock levels and reorder parts, supplies, and equipment as needed.
• Assist in receiving and verifying incoming shipments.
• Organize and maintain all supply and parts areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and efficiency.
• Store inventory in designated bins and clearly labeled locations.
• Track and report inventory levels of boiler fuel and other critical materials.
• Support the Production Department by ensuring that all necessary parts and supplies are readily available.
• Complete required paperwork and data entry accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with monthly inventory counts and reporting.
• All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience with inventory management systems - preferably Oracle.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of how to use parts catalogs.
• Ability to use a calculator to perform addition and subtraction functions.

Physical Demands

• Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch.
• Frequently must push, pull, move or lift up to 75 lbs.
• Regularly required reach with hands and arms.

Work Environment:

Duties will be performed in both office and warehouse settings.
