The salary range for this position is $60 - 70K

Job Summary

Responsible for carrying out procurement and planning functions at the Cinder Bed Road location. Assists in purchasing commodity products, equipment, and supplies. The Manager is responsible for all aspects of daily order management and can solve complex problems with innovation and ingenuity.

Primary Duties

  • Manage the day-to-day production operation and requirements of current projects by monitoring pickups/deliveries, daily throughput, and productivity levels for all assigned staff

  • Meet or exceed all budget and financial objectives for assigned programs by aggressively pushing for favorable pricing and delivery of items

  • Meet or exceed all delivery timetables by coordinating material delivery and set-up/installation; assists with emergency deliveries.

  • Meet or exceed all requests for information by providing timely reporting on material planning, open order, metrics, etc.

  • Meet all requests for Customer Service assistance in a timely and efficient way: order processing, quotes, sample requests, returns, billing resolution.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Research and obtain new business for the Supply Division.

  • Consult with customer production lines and manufacturing groups to understand demand forecasts; schedules material lots and reviews pricing. Serves as a liaison between the customer and supplier for product sourcing.

  • Enter inventory, purchasing, and QC data into applicable 3PL and customer systems; assists in 3rd party vendor and item set-up. Assists in qualifying new suppliers Reviews and interprets contracts. Responsible for standing order set-up and maintenance within 3PL and customer systems for planning.

  • Change notification compliance updates engineering change orders, part# updates, adding/deleting materials when needed. Liaison for customer to negotiate pricing with customers and non-suppliers seeking beneficial supplier agreements. Provides reporting on material planning, open order, metrics, etc.

  • Work with appropriate parties to resolve nonconformance issues for raw materials; documents complaints, supplier investigation, root cause analysis of non-conformance, supplier corrective action (SCAR), and pre-planned deviations. Maintain case records according to CARF standards. Responsible for adherence to OSHA safety and fire regulations in assigned work area. Conduct safety inspections within the Division.

  • Process International, domestic, and capital orders; reconciles invoices. Provides audit support and attends vendor shows as needed.

  • Implement project management proficiencies by creating schedules, deliverables, and identifying new available resources. Manage materials and requests for fulfillment, inventory, and distribution to companies and individuals at request of customer.

  • Manage and maintain inventory at Lorton and other assigned warehouses. Responsible for individual daily tracking of goals, monthly support analyses, and behavior support requirements for participants in the Supply Division. Manage time input and attendance system for employees.

  • Complete in an accurate and timely manner, all evaluation/assessment reports, progress reports, case notes, incident reports, attendance, and other supporting documentation.

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s)

  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field.

  • High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) plus five (5) years of related experience can be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.

  • Preferred: One (1) year of direct management experience.

  • Must be able to pass criminal and drug screening background checks to meet current government eligibility requirements that apply or become applicable to this position.

  • Valid driver's license and/or access to reliable transportation to perform work-related travel required. Eligible drivers must have a good motor vehicle record (MVR).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge in order management, forecasting knowledge, and/or expediting experience.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple activities and prioritize multiple competing tasks.

  • Ability to set priorities for self, team, and peers, and adjust when priorities change.

  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to become familiar with corporate specificprograms and software such as ZOOM and Microsoft Teams.

  • Ability to solve practical problems andadapt to new information and guidance quickly.

  • Excellent verbaland writtencommunication skills.

  • Detail-oriented and able to carry out work with the highest levels of accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent customer service skills (phone and in person).

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
