Additional Compensation Details:

• $21/HR
• 90-day performance review with potential raise.
• Yearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure.

The Role:The ripening role is responsible for supporting the ripening on daily inventory of all commodities assigned specifically bananas and avocados. Responsible for maintaining the proper color chart or ripeness level expectations with very low tolerance for variance. It is a fast paced environment where the volume of inventory requires a high level of tracking and following proper procedures using the warehouse management system to maintain inventory integrity by following best practices.

Position Requirements:

• Exceptional time management skills
• Proficient computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook
• Banana ripening experience preferred
• 2 years riding pallet jack experience
• 2 years forklift experience preferred
• Storong attention to detail
• Inventory experience a plus
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and able to accomplish team objectives

Here are a few things to be ready for (and don't forget we will train and certify you):

• Operate equipment - riding pallet jack and standing forklift
• Follow food safety quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment, 35-56 degrees
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently
• Ability to work without direct supervision and to prioritize activities
• Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
